11th Mile Cheras Lutheran Church (EMCLC) shares an inseparable bond with mission work. The church’s foundation traces back to Ms. M. Clara Sullivan’s humble response and obedience to God’s calling. Journeying across oceans from the United States to Malaysia, she settled in 11th Mile Cheras, planting the initial seeds of the Gospel. Growing through this missionary legacy, the church continues to fulfill Christ’s Great Commission.

Over the years, EMCLC has actively supported domestic and international mission agencies and missionaries while empowering members to participate directly. Through local and overseas exposure trips partnered with various organizations, short-term mission opportunities allow believers to experience, learn, and practice their faith firsthand rather than viewing missions solely as a supported project.

In terms of global missions, EMCLC hosts an annual Missions Conference and encourages Faith Promise Giving, inviting the congregation to engage through prayer, offering, and action. Guided by God’s grace, the church held its 32nd Missions Conference, consistently driving Faith Promise Giving to fund internal mission work and external partners, extending the Gospel footprint further.
