English Worship Ministry

With the growth of the church and the expanding need for English ministry, the English Worship Service of 11th Mile Cheras Lutheran Church (EMCLC) officially commenced in 1999 under the leadership of Rev. Francis Ho. The English Ministry encompasses Sunday worship services, prayer ministry, and cell group ministry.

By God’s grace, since its inception, the English Ministry has been shepherded and led by several faithful pastors, including Rev. Philip Lok, Rev. Aaron Yap, Rev. Chan, and Rev. Alec Ling. With steadfast faith and living testimonies, they have encouraged and strengthened the faith of our brothers and sisters in the church.

Today, the overall structure of the English Worship Ministry remains well established, with an increasing number of brothers and sisters actively participating in worship ministry. Prayer meetings are currently held twice a month online via Zoom, while cell group gatherings meet once a month. At the end of 2024, the church established a new group combining Young Adults & Youth (YAY), replacing the former Rock Cell.

English Worship Service Times:

• Sunday: 10:30 am – 12:00 pm (Ground Floor)

• Holy Communion & Combined Worship: 1st week of every month (3rd Floor Main Sanctuary)
